Returns & Exchange Policy for The Red Thread Spice Company
Thank you for shopping with The Red Thread Spice Company! We hope you love our spices and products. If for any reason you’re not satisfied with your purchase, please review our returns and exchange policy below:
1. Return Eligibility
- Unused and Unopened Products: We gladly accept returns for products that are unused and unopened within 30 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, the product must be in its original, sealed packaging.
- Defective or Damaged Items: If your product arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, detailing with a photo, and description of the nature of the defect. In the event, a package arrives damaged we ask that you send a photo to us and then take the damaged package to the nearest post office to file a claim so that we may act on your behalf to replace the order. We will send a replacement item with a tracking number at no additional cost.
2. Non-Returnable Items
- Opened or Used Products: Due to health and safety regulations, we are unable to accept returns on opened or used food items, including spices, seasonings, and blends. Please ensure you are satisfied with your purchase before opening the product.
- Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable.
3. Return Process
- Step 1: Contact our customer service team at support@redthreadspice.com to initiate a return. Please include your order number, details of the product you wish to return, and the reason for your return.
- Step 2: Our team will send you detailed instructions on how to return your item. You may be required to send the product back to us at your own expense unless the item is defective or damaged.
- Step 3: Once we receive your return, we will process it within 5-7 business days. A refund will be issued to your original payment method, or we can send a replacement if you prefer.
4. Exchanges
- If you would like to exchange a product for a different size, flavor, or spice blend, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.
- We will work with you to facilitate the exchange, and if there is any price difference between the original and new product, we will either charge or refund the difference as necessary.
5. Return Shipping Costs
- Defective or Damaged Items: If your product is defective, damaged, or we sent the wrong item, we will cover the return shipping costs and issue a prepaid return label.
- Other Returns: For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for returns. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
- Lost or Stolen Packages: The Red Thread Spice Company Inc. is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages, but we will try our best to help you locate a missing order. You must notify us if your package is missing so that we may follow up with the shipper on your behalf.
6. Refunds
- Once your return is processed, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card provider.
- Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
